Arctic Adventures is one of Iceland's premier outdoor tour operators. In April we took off on two trips with them, one to Solheimajokull Glacier to do some ice climbing out on the glacial tongue, the other to the Silfa Fissure (the dividing line between the European and American tectonic plates) to do some arctic snorkeling.

We never thought of snorkeling as an activity you typically do in the Arctic, but we’ll be honest, it was incredibly worth it.
